Our Audiologist
Dr. Michelle Rankin, AU.D., CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Rankin regularly attends to the needs of her patients with 20 years of clinical experience in hearing healthcare. She obtained a degree as a Doctor of Audiology from Salus University: George Osborne School of Audiology in 2007 and is a member of the American Speech, Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2004.
She offers comprehensive audiological services and is an active member of the greater Chelsea area. Her patients are why she loves her career: “They touch my life and teach me something new in a positive way every day.”
When not seeing patients, Dr. Rankin is busy with her husband, Mark, and their four children. She gives back to her community in a variety of ways including but not limited to Kiwanis, area Senior Centers, 5 Healthy Towns, Start Hearing Foundation, St. Louis Center, and has been a member of the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce since 2014.

Sherry Essendrup
Patient Care Coordinator
Sherry joined us in May 2024. She has over thirty years experience in the medical field as a Pharmacy Technician and Chiropractic Assistant. Her experience makes her an amazing Patient Care Coordinator at Rankin Audiology and hearing.
She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Melissa Bolton
Biller & Office Administrator
I have been with Rankin Audiology and Hearing for over 6 years now. I started as a Patient Care Coordinator and am now the Office Administrator. I split my time between the Chelsea office and the Adrian office. I have 3 wonderful children and have been married for 23 years. I have worked in the medical field for over 15 years, studying health care administration at Eastern Michigan University and Baker College. Currently, I am studying to become a hearing instrument specialist and will be assisting Dr. Rankin and Dr. Glover with testing, fitting, and hearing aid maintenance and cleaning. I look forward to many more years working for Dr. Rankin and love being one of the first faces that our patients see when they walk in.
Ashleigh Bolton
Patient Care Coordinator
Ashleigh began here at Rankin in January of 2022. She started as a patient care coordinator working in our Chelsea location and has since been promoted to billing specialist which she does remotely in Memphis, Tennessee. She plans to further her career in medical billing and coding by taking classes to become certified later this year.
